About the Game

The player is chased by enemies in maze-like city and has to collect the collectibles to complete the level. The focus of this game is on level design. Map is divided into districts (Miyamoto’s Miniature Garden). Starting point acts as vantage point so the player can view the whole map and move in desired section. Multiple paths between sectors promote the player's choice. Collectibles are placed as wayfinding cues and decoration serve as “borders” for the map. Verticality is another level design that was implemented in this game.
How to play:
"Shift" to run and "Spacebar" to jump.
Enemies:
The enemies move around the map with fixed paths. They chase the player if they come to close. The enemies can be defeated by jumping on top. Different enemies for each part of the map.
Collectables and UI:
UI is kept simple, containing only score and player health. Player has 5 health points. Enemy hits deduct 0.5, falling down deducts 1 HP. HP can be recovered by collecting hearts throughout the level. Collecting all fruit is the goal of the level. Once the score reaches 10,000 the game is finished. Each fruit grants 50 points. Each sector has a different kind of fruit.
